Quilt Panels of local people who
have died of AIDS Complications. The panels you are about to view were built my
family and friends of each of the people represented here. Panel all have
something they remembered most about the person they are memorializing. Every
panel has its own story to tell in its self. To see the panels is like being
personally being introduced to that particular person. All the work done on
these panels was done out of love and respect for the life of the individual.
This living memorial also serves as a reminder of what happens when we as people
become complaisant and ignore what can happen to us when we let a disease go
unchecked and people uncared for, shunned, unloved, and treat them less then
human.
